#JOESLONDONBUCKETLIST: 30 Adventures Before 30
I’m Joe – and I’ve challenged myself to complete 30 of the 50 activities in my book The London Bucket List before my 30th birthday. The challenge was set exactly 30 weeks before my birthday on 1 October. You can read about all of the activities I’ve completed so far here. You can download an electronic version of The London Bucket List at the bottom of this post – or buy the paperback here.
Hip-Hop Karaoke is your weekly opportunity to rap in front of a pumped crowd to the world’s greatest rap anthems.
It takes place at The Social in Little Portland Street. The basement bar might look as dark and intimidating as the rap battle arena in 8 Mile, but it’s actually the most supportive karaoke environment you’ll ever experience.
No matter how terrible you are at spitting bars, you are treated by like a RAP GOD. MC Bobby Champagne Jr makes sure of that.
We attended the takeover of Pop Brixton, but it was so packed we couldn’t get any decent video footage.
So here are my favourite performances from the regular show at The Social.
Is it a great date venue?
It’s one of my favourite nights out in London. If your girl loves getting down to Drake, Kanye West and the rest, she’ll love this. The kitchen upstairs does a decent burger and chips too.
